木星的眼淚
 
 
詩與歌是神秘的一體兩面，當我們的感覺打開時，這隻神秘就在我們心靈飛起，遨翔在靈魂的天空。
 
它們關乎我們的感覺，主要不在說理、不在知識。不過歌重在旋律與節奏，歌詞是其次（歌與詞互溶最佳），而詩則是文字的最高表現，它的音樂來自心跳、血液的脈動、肺的呼與吸，透過文字的聲音傳達。事實上，我喜歡在英詩課的第一堂課以歌為序曲，喚起同學的感覺，然後再進入詩的世界。
 
絕大多數歌曲的內容都圍繞著愛情，這或許是因為當人陷入愛戀（不管是相戀、單戀、失戀）時，是我們感覺睜醒的時候，容易被觸動。心情的風景大概有：淡遠的微笑、地獄深淵的心碎、火烈、狂喜、神醉、深沈的哀痛、幽微的神傷、無可奈何的漠然自嘲、嚮往、渴望，等等。
 
所以這學期選的兩首歌都與愛情有關，第一首是〈如許的藍天〉(Never Saw Blue like That)。它的歌詞與旋律像心靈的低語，如一灣清淺細細流：

而木星的眼淚(Drops of Jupiter)呢？那是星際之旅的熟悉又陌生，奇妙地以快節奏跳動深沈的懷想與感傷：

這首歌的歌詞有些地方雖然不易懂，不過確有某種奇異吸引著我們，而歌本身也讓我們忍不住一聽再聽。同學們聽歌時與聽後，臉上都流露著被打動的神情，而下課後，也紛紛在臉書上抒發。我微笑看著他們討論，每個都按讚。而當我們正式上英詩時，多數同學都蠻有感覺地進入……
