緬甸軍警開火驅散不滿政變的示威抗議民眾，造成2人喪命後，英國外交大臣拉布（Dominic Raab）今天表示，英國將會考慮對涉及暴力鎮壓抗議民眾的那些人採取進一步行動。
拉布發推文表示：「緬甸境內發生朝和平示威抗議民眾開火事件，無法令人接受。我們將會與我們的國際夥伴一起考量，針對鎮壓民主和扼殺異議的那些人採取進一步行動。」
英國於18日對3名緬甸將領祭出制裁措施，指控他們於政變發生後嚴重侵犯人權。

The doctor pleaded to give her just 15 mins to close the wounds on the boy’s head but was cruelly denied by police. The only thing she could do was tearfully telling him that “You will be okay”.
